International School Theatre Association

I first worked with the International School Theatre Association (ISTA) at the Monte Kiara International School in 2003. I worked at the first Technical focused festival. We worked hard hard and had a great time. Unfortunately the technical festival was a one off as the sign ups for tech focused festivals is a little low to sustain. ISTA have since added a technical stream in their other festivals.
I continue working with them. See some event reflections below.

Our focus was to support an ending show that showcased the different sessions that took place. In addition to gaining understanding and experience with the tools and operational methods. The group had fun, and did a lot…dealing with Sound and Light & basic stage props.

Again, I’m impressed 🙂

Sept 2013 – India
Sadly for me I had to pull out of the festival in India as I had to have my spine operated on. A very scary scene but i was fixed.
